Announcements Let's Get Ready to Roll . . .A time you thought would never get here is finally here - the last semester of your high school journey. In order to make certain you meet your goal of receiving a diploma, it is CRUCIAL that you stay on top of all deadlines and assignments associated with the Graduation Project. If you would like to review the PowerPoint shown in class about the 4 different parts of the project, it is titled "Graduation Project Overview" and is now located in the files to the right of the annoucements.
Helpful Links These links will provide you with different computer programs and/or websites that could help you create the product and/or visuals for your project. These links will provide you with a wealth of information on choosing a topic or suggested topics. If you're having trouble, look here! This website will help you create entries for your works cited page. Make sure you keep up with all required information during the research period to completely fill in forms. BEFORE PRINTING: Click on "Save list as WORD (RTF)." Make sure everything is formatted correctly. Save the file. Then, PRINT! IMPORTANT: You can either create your own login or use: tonya_cope@abss.k12.nc.us with a password of cavaliers. This link to Cabarrus County's Grad Project site takes you to a video produced by SERVE on how to be a Graduation Project Mentor. This film explains why the NC Department of Public Instruction has added the Graduation Project as a graduation requirement. It also explains each part of the process and shows sample presentations and ideas. (Please keep watching; the first few minutes are a bit "cheesy!") This website allows teachers, parents and students to discover what statewide expectations are in terms of the North Carolina Graduation Project.
